A Little About Us

Travel and the memories that we make with others have always been a deep passion of ours, and there are still so many places we dream of exploring.

At the top of my bucket list are Greece and Africa, as well as river cruises through Europe and also a tour in Spain. I believe that visiting the Holy Land, Jerusalem—walking where Jesus walked, would be an unforgettable, life changing experience.

On the domestic side, I’m eager to visit Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and return to Waco, Texas, to stay at the 1912 Magnolia Hotel.

I also dream of seeing Butchart Gardens in Canada, cruising on a yacht, and experiencing another European high-speed train journey. I also feel that an adventure in Newfoundland would top off my bucket list.

Jamie, on the other hand, finds that every new destination adds something special to his own bucket list—sometimes without him even realizing it! He especially loves cruising in the tropics and believes that while the destination is exciting, the people you share it with make the journey truly special.

Together, we are excited to escort groups on extraordinary adventures, taking the stress out of planning so you can simply enjoy the journey. Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip or a beloved return to a favorite place, we can’t wait to travel with you!

Our Story

Since 1985, Jamie and I have been partners in life, family, and adventure. Together, we raised two incredible children—a daughter and a son—who are now married with families of their own. We are blessed with four wonderful grandchildren and cherish the joy of sharing our lives with them. Our love for family and faith has always guided us, and our passion for travel has allowed us to witness the beauty of God’s creation firsthand.

Jamie dedicated 33 years to serving as a police officer before retiring, while I spent 20 years as a hairstylist, staying home with our children until they were in school. Later, I transitioned into banking and eventually became a Bank Club Director, where I was introduced to the travel industry. That experience ignited a passion that has now spanned 13 years, helping others create unforgettable travel experiences.

Amber Travels was born from that love of adventure and connection. We believe travel should be seamless, enriching, and filled with lasting memories. Whether you’re exploring with old friends or making new ones, we are here to ensure every journey is meaningful and well-planned.
